Jordan Love's $220M Contract Has NFL Fans Projecting Dak Prescott, Brock Purdy Deals

Just hours after Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa inked a four-year, $212.4 million extension, another quarterback got paid.

Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love agreed to a four-year, $220M contract extension that includes a $75 million signing bonus and $155 million guaranteed.

After two more quarterbacks signed massive deals on Friday, NFL fans began to project what kind of deals Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy will get when they re-sign.

Love's new extension just adds to what has been a lucrative few years for the league's top quarterbacks. He is now tied with Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow and Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence for the highest-paid quarterback on a per-year basis.

But with Prescott and Purdy likely nearing extensions soon, there could be a new highest-paid quarterback. Prescott will be a free agent after this season while Purdy's contract ends in 2026, so it wouldn't be a surprise for either to ink new deals at some point this season.

Prescott is coming off another strong year that saw him make a case for MVP, throwing for 4,516 passing yards and 36 touchdowns. Purdy, in just his second year in the league, had 4,280 passing yards and 31 touchdowns last season, leading the 49ers to a Super Bowl appearance.

After the lucrative deals that have been thrown around over the last couple of offseasons, it's safe to say it's a good time to be a quarterback.
