Video: WWE's Logan Paul Talks Boxing Future; Says Brother Jake Will Beat Mike Tyson

While his younger brother continues to find success in a boxing ring, Logan Paul remains content to focus his efforts largely on his WWE career.

"I'll only hop back in the ring with a fight that excites me," he said in a video posted by Fred Talks Fighting, adding that a rematch with Floyd Mayweather Jr. wouldn't be enticing.

"I need to be inspired by the dance partner," Paul said. "And I got a good thing going on in the WWE. I'm the United States champion and I'm much better at wrestling than I am at boxing."

The 29-year-old has fought professionally twice, most recently beating Dillon Danis by disqualification last October. Before that, he and Mayweather went the distance in their eight-round exhibition.

Paul's relatively nondescript boxing career contrasts sharply with his wrestling endeavors. He became an almost immediate sensation in a part-time role for WWE and has only grown in influence since then. It's little surprise he's happy to maintain the status quo.

His comments came after Jake Paul scored a sixth-round TKO of Mike Perry on Saturday night. Perry was an injury replacement for Mike Tyson, who's scheduled to meet the YouTuber-turned-boxer in November instead.

Logan believes the "same thing" that happened to Perry will befall Tyson in a few months.

"People who think Mike Tyson's gonna beat Jake aren't fools, but Jake will end Mike Tyson's — whatever he's doing."

Jake has defied his skeptics every step of the way as a boxer, but Tyson is unquestionably the most decorated opponent he has faced. Despite their massive age gap (31), plenty of fans will consider Iron Mike to be the favorite.

Defeating Tyson won't help Paul much in terms of gaining credibility in the eyes of boxing organizations but would nonetheless be a big feather in his cap.
