Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes Reacts to Being No. 1 Ranked QB in NFL by Coaches, Execs

Scott Polacek

Patrick Mahomes isn't resting on his laurels.

After ESPN's Jeremy Fowler relayed the results of his publication's survey of league executives, coaches and scouts ranking the top 10 players at each position, Mahomes responded to being named the No. 1 overall quarterback:

Kansas City Chiefs fans will surely be pleased to see the 28-year-old is ready to "keep it rolling."

Mahomes being No. 1 is anything but a surprise, as his resume already includes three Super Bowl titles, three Super Bowl MVPs, two league MVPs and six Pro Bowl selections. There isn't much of an argument for any other signal-caller at this point, especially after he led the Chiefs to yet another Lombardi Trophy this past season.

In six years as Kansas City's full-time starter, Mahomes has never fallen short of the AFC Championship Game and has more seasons with a Super Bowl appearance (four) than without one (two).

As long as he remains under center, the AFC West team will likely keep it rolling.

And he will likely keep his spot atop the quarterback rankings.
