Call of Duty has announced a crossover with WWE for Season 5 of Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone on Wednesday, July 24.

The teaser video doesn't reveal any crossover specifics. However, there appears to be silhouettes of three wrestlers at the tail end of the teaser.

Rebekah Valentine of ign.com also provided more information on what could lie ahead: "Roadmaps for each season are typically released roughly a week ahead of the season itself, so expect more details on both WWE in Call of Duty and all of season 5 relatively soon."

S.E. Doster of Gamespot provided some insight into what could be ahead for the crossover: "Past Call of Duty crossovers with IPs such as The Boys, Fallout, Dune, and Gundam have included shop bundles as well as free rewards to earn during themed event challenges, so this will likely feature similar content."

As noted by Mike Straw of Insider Gaming, WWE also did a crossover with Fortnite featuring Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch skins in the game.
