Athletes from across the sports world came together on Thursday night for the ESPYs, an award show celebrating accomplishments from the year in sports.

As is the case with every red carpet-event, those in attendance brought out their best suits and dresses, looking to turn heads on social media.

Serena Williams, the host of the event, kept it simple with her dress, though she said in her opening speech that she planned to have 16 different outfit changes, so her red carpet-look was the first of many.

Boston Celtics star and Finals MVP Jaylen Brown showed up in an all-black look alongside WNBA player Kysre Gondrezick. As TMZ reported, the two appear to be an official item, giving basketball fans a new power couple.

The all-black look seemed to be a trend on the red carpet on Thursday, as Baltimore Ravens quarterback and NFL MVP Lamar Jackson also came out in a monochrome black suit that featured some flashy accessories.

LSU gymnastics star Livvy Dunne went a different route with her outfit, wearing a vibrant gold dress. She joined a fellow Tiger, LSU women's basketball player Flau'jae Johnson on the red carpet.

UConn basketball star Paige Bueckers made a statement with a lavender suit.

Cleveland Browns star Myles Garrett apparently went back to his Texas roots with his look, rocking a cowboy hat and Western-themed outfit.

Andy Reid and his wife Tammy kept things classy with their looks, and Reid still managed to get some Kansas City Chiefs red in his suit.

While the ESPYs are mostly about honoring athletes and all their accomplishments, it's also a chance for athletes to show off their fashion sense, and the stars didn't disappoint this year.
