Scottie Scheffler's success in the PGA Tour's signature events in 2024 continued after defeating Tom Kim in a playoff and winning the Travelers Championship on Sunday.

Scheffler took home $3.6 million after the win, bringing his career earnings to just over $70.26 million and placing him at No. 7 on the PGA Tour's career list. He's totaled $16.988 million throughout his seven signature event appearances in 2024, which would rank No. 143 on the career earnings leaderboard alone (h/t NBC Sports).

The 28-year-old currently sits in between Vijay Singh at No. 6 and Adam Scott at No. 8 on the all-time earnings rankings. Scheffler is close to entering the top five, as former U.S. Open winner Jim Furyk holds the No. 5 spot with roughly $71.5 million in career earnings.

By adding Scheffler's other results outside of his signature events such as his victories at the Masters as well as the Players Championship, he's brought in just over $27.696 million in 2024 (via NBC Sports). That total represents a single-season record for Scheffler.

After winning his sixth event of the season on Sunday, he became the first player to record at least six victories on the PGA Tour before July since Arnold Palmer in 1962.

Scheffler carded a five-under par 70 in the fourth round of the Travelers Championship and entered a one-hole playoff with Kim on No. 18. After Kim struggled, the world's No. 1 golfer tapped in a putt for par and officially came away with the win.
