Video: Travis Kelce Says He Doesn't 'Give a S--t' About Chiefs Super Bowl Ring Typo

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce says he is not concerned over the typo on his Super Bowl ring that incorrectly seeds the Chiefs' opponent in the 2024 Wild Card round.

"I don't give a s--t," Kelce said when asked by his brother, Jason Kelce, if he planned to get the ring fixed on Wednesday's episode of their New Heights podcast (45:30 mark.) "I like it, that we didn't give a f--k about what seed Miami was. F--k it."

"They were the seventh, who cares?" Kelce continued. "They could have done no seeds on the side of 'em, I would've been fine.

"I think it makes it more unique, like, 'Oh, yeah, we made it really detailed, and oops, we screwed up.' Just makes it more exclusive, like we screwed up about something that means nothing."

The Chiefs started out their championship postseason by defeating the Miami Dolphins 26-7, one of the four final scores engraved on the inside of the ruby- and diamond-studded ring.

The engraving, however, lists the Dolphins as the No. 7 seed, when Miami entered the game as the No. 6 seed in the AFC.

The Pittsburgh Steelers, who lost their own Wild Card game to the Buffalo Bills, were the No. 7 seed in the conference.

Kelce went on to praise the ring, which featured 529 diamonds and 38 rubies. But he noted on New Heights that it was not his favorite of the three rings he has received in five years.

"This one's pretty damn cool," Kelce said. "It feels like a championship ring when you look at it. But I would probably say the one last year is my favorite one."

Kelce received his ring alongside the rest of the Chiefs' Super Bowl winning team rings during a private ceremony Thursday in Kansas City. He and quarterback Patrick Mahomes will now look to earn a fourth as the team begins its campaign for a historic three-peat this fall.
