NFL Legend Tom Brady Celebrates Celtics' NBA Title: 'Another One in Boston'

Andrew Peters

The man who brought six championships to the city of Boston gave a shoutout to the Celtics for adding another ring to the region's history.

Tom Brady congratulated the Celtics on social media following Boston's Game 5 win over the Dallas Mavericks on Monday night.

Brady is a Boston legend after winning six Super Bowls with the New England Patriots and leading them to nine total during his tenure. While he closed out his career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he'll forever be known for his time with the Patriots.

The Patriots and the Boston Red Sox have been responsible for most of the sports success in the city over the last decade, but now the Celtics have started to hold their own, winning their first championship since 2008.

And it seems the Celtics could be on their way to plenty more success behind stars Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum and the rest of Boston's roster. Brown is just 27 years old while Tatum is 26, so if the two stay together, they could rack up a few more championships by the end of their careers.

Now, Brady is just counting on his former team to get back on track as the Patriots continue looking to find their way back to glory.
