Video: Jeff Hardy 1st Off-Air Comments After TNA Return at Against All Odds 2024

Jeff Hardy made his return to TNA for the first time since 2017 at Against All Odds on Friday night.

After Matt Hardy lost to Moose in the main event, The System continued to attack the Broken One and Joe Hendry when Jeff came out to make the save.

When the show went off the air, Jeff addressed the crowd for the first time following his departure from AEW, . He declared that "hell froze over" in reference to him returning to the promotion before saying, "Heaven has had it out for me all along and TNA is my new heaven."

Hardy previously wrestled in TNA from 2004 to '06 and 2010 to '17. He was a three-time world heavyweight champion and two-time tag champ with his brother in the promotion.

Jeff's description of his return as hell freezing over could be a tease for something with WWE in the future. It was the same phrase that CM Punk used for his return to WWE.

Even though Jeff is not under contract to WWE, the two companies do have a working partnership. TNA knockouts world champion Jordynne Grace wrestled for the NXT women's title at Battleground on June 9, losing to Roxanne Perez.

NXT star Tatum Paxley appeared at Against All Odds by answering Grace's open challenge. Grace retained her championship by getting the pin after a juggernaut driver.

The Hardys spent the past few years working together in AEW. Matt returned to TNA in April at Rebellion after his AEW deal expired.

Jeff hasn't wrestled a match since suffering an injury during a match against Sammy Guevara during a taping of Rampage on Feb. 14.
