New York Jets star cornerback Sauce Gardner appears to be interested in a 1-on-1 rematch with popular YouTuber and streamer iShowSpeed.

On Thursday, Gardner revealed that Speed called him and was "talking crazy" in a post on X. Then, the All-Pro corner asked his followers if he should pursue a second opportunity to face off against the streamer on the field.

The first clash between the two occurred ahead of Super Bowl 58 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They participated in a 1-on-1 drill at the line of scrimmage, going viral after Speed eventually broke free for a long touchdown.

Gardner seems to be well aware of the buzz surrounding the outcome and is looking to get some revenge.

The 23-year-old has already established himself as one of the league's top cornerbacks since he was selected with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2022 NFL draft. In two seasons, he's recorded two interceptions and 31 passes defensed while winning Defensive Rookie of the Year.

He received an exceptional 88.6 grade from Pro Football Focus for his 2023 campaign, allowing just 29 receptions on 51 targets. Gardner also became the first cornerback since the merger between the NFL and AFL to earn a First Team All-Pro selection in each of the first two years of his career (h/t John Pullano of the team's official website).

While the former Cincinnati standout is preparing for the 2024 season, he also seems to be interested in getting some payback against Speed after their previous 1-on-1 matchup.
