Such as attending the 2024 Met Gala.

Simmons arrived at Monday's event at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York decked out in quite the outfit that included a prominent clock:

The clock makes sense considering this year's theme for the Met Gala is "The Garden of Time," per Jacqui Palumbo of CNN. Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny and Chris Hemsworth were the co-hosts for the celebrity extravaganza.

While basketball might take a backseat for most with so many celebrities in attendance, NBA fans were certainly ready with the Simmons jokes:

Simmons hasn't been on the court much of late. He appeared in just 15 games this season and 42 games in 2022-23 after missing the entire 2021-22 campaign. The LSU product hasn't played more than 58 games since he was an All-Star in 2018-19 for the Philadelphia 76ers.

The expectation is he will be ready for the 2024-25 season, where he will look to make an impression for his play on the court in addition to what he is wearing off it.
