Eli Manning Trolls Tom Brady Over Super Bowls to Joke About Missing Netflix Roast

Joseph Zucker

Former New York Giants star Eli Manning didn't attend the roast of Tom Brady, but he managed to have some fun at the NFL legend's expense nonetheless.

Manning said he didn't feel the need to "roast" Brady again after beating him twice in the Super Bowl:

Almost all high-performing and accomplished athletes are wired the same.

Brady is a seven-time Super Bowl champion and widely regarded as the greatest quarterback in NFL history. But you can bet his two Super Bowl defeats to the Giants still stick in the 46-year-old's craw, and falling short in Super Bowl XLII will be particularly painful since it denied the New England Patriots a perfect season.

Take it from the man himself.

"I'm not over any of the Super Bowl losses," he said in February on his Let's Go! podcast. "I am still mad. Sixteen years later, in '07. I'm still mad, the 2011 Super Bowl, I'm still mad we lost to the [Philadelphia] Eagles. But no, you can't change the outcome and you gotta live with it."

Brady obviously had a superior career to that of Manning, yet you can't help but feel Eli maintains the ultimate trump card. Besting Brady twice on the biggest stage is something he can hang over Touchdown Tom from now until the end of time.
