Celtics' Jayson Tatum Makes 1st YouTube Video in 11 Years, Recreates Viral Tutorial

Jayson Tatum's YouTube video from high school detailing how to tie a tie resurfaced when the Boston Celtics star made it to the league, and on Friday, he gave fans another tutorial video.

His first YouTube video, posted in 2013, has reached 7.9 million views since its release, with most of the views likely coming in the last few years.

In a hilarious callback to his first YouTube upload, Tatum showed fans how to tie a shoe.

"What's up guys, JT here again with another tutorial video, 11, 12 some odd years later, and we back, " Tatum said in the video. "First it was how to tie a tie, and clearly you guys loved that. So now we're here with the JT 2 Vortexes, and for all those who don't know how to tie a shoe, or are looking for a different way to tie a shoe, this is how I tie my shoe."

It's not clear why Tatum decided to make a second YouTube tutorial more than a decade later, but it provided some entertainment to fans and could be a useful tool for parents looking to teach their young children how to lace up their shoes. It also serves as some free advertising for Tatum's signature JT 2 shoes, which were released in March.

Tatum will have to put his YouTube stardom on the back burner for a little while, though, as he's looking to lead the Celtics to an NBA Finals. Boston made it through Round 1 after a 3-1 series win against the Miami Heat and is now gearing up to face either the Orlando Magic or Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Celtics could know their second-round opponent as early as Friday night. The Cavs have a 3-2 lead over the Magic and are looking to put the series away. If Orlando wins, it will force a Game 7 that will be played on Sunday.
