Russell Westbrook had an early exit to Friday's Game 3 matchup against the Dallas Mavericks.
The Los Angeles Clippers point guard was ejected halfway through the fourth quarter after an altercation with Mavericks forward P.J. Washington. Westbrook committed a hard foul against Luka Dončić before shoving Washington, earning an ejection.
After the ejection, fans trolled Westbrook for getting into it with Washington, who seemed unphased.
It was a frustrating game for Westbrook as the Clippers lost 101-90. He had just one point and was 0-of-7 from the field with two turnovers. The hard foul on Dončić followed by the shoving of Washington was like a culmination of his frustration.
After the loss, Los Angeles is now trailing 2-1 in the series. The Clippers won Game 1 by double digits before losing a nail-biter in Game 2. The Mavericks outplayed Los Angeles in Game 3 as the stars struggled. Kawhi Leonard and Paul George combined for just 16 points while James Harden had a more respectable 21-point performance.
The Clippers' stars will need to show up on Sunday to avoid going down 3-1, and Westbrook can't afford another outburst like Friday's.
