Philadelphia 76ers guard Kelly Oubre Jr. wrecked his Lamborghini hours after the team's 104-101 defeat to the New York Knicks in the 2024 NBA playoffs, according to TMZ Sports.
Police in Philadelphia said Oubre "disregarded a red traffic signal" and struck another driver. Nobody was injured in the collision.
The accident occurred at 1:45 a.m. ET Tuesday morning. Earlier in the night, Oubre and his Sixers teammates watched Knicks guard Donte DiVincenzo hit a go-ahead three-pointer inside the final 20 seconds of Game 2 to give New York a 2-0 series lead in the opening round.
Oubre started and played 26 minutes, finishing with four points, two rebounds, three assists and three blocks.
This is at least the second automobile-related incident involving the 28-year-old this season. He missed 11 games between November and early December after he was the victim in an alleged hit-and-run.
Game 3 is scheduled for Thursday at 7:30 p.m. ET at Wells Fargo Center with Oubre once again in the starting lineup.
