It doesn't appear that Brock Bowers will be available after the No. 10 pick in the 2024 NFL draft.

Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports reported on Thursday that NFL teams "believe" that the Georgia tight end will be selected with one of the top 10 picks.

Longtime NFL draft analyst Todd McShay said he's heard the Indianapolis Colts and Jacksonville Jaguars have been linked as possible landing spots for Bowers if they trade up.

While he could hear his name called during the first nine selections, it seems as though teams don't expect him to slip past the New York Jets. The Jets own the No. 10 choice and could put Bowers alongside Aaron Rodgers, as ESPN's Rich Cimini reported that members of the scouting community around the NFL are "expecting the Jets to pair Rodgers with the talented playmaker."

Bowers is widely considered to be the top prospect at his position in the 2024 class following three tremendous seasons with the Bulldogs. He finished his collegiate career with 2,538 receiving yards and 26 touchdown catches, winning two Mackey Awards as the most outstanding tight end in the country.

In the latest mock draft from Bleacher Report's NFL Scouting Department, Bowers was selected by New York with the No. 10 pick. B/R NFL Scout Derrik Klassen highlighted the tight end's importance with Rodgers returning from a season-ending Achilles injury in 2023.

"With where Rodgers is at in his career as he comes back from an Achilles tear, YAC has to be paramount in the Jets offense," Klassen said. "That's exactly what Georgia's Brock Bowers provides."
