After honoring a veteran with a unique name during a game recently, the New York Mets have included him in a promo for an upcoming treat for fans.

The Mets honored Seymour Weiner as their Veteran of the Game recently, leading to his appearance on the jumbotron going viral. On Wednesday, the Mets utilized him as part of the promo for Dollar Dog Night on April 30, when fans will be able to enjoy hot dogs at Citi Field for just $1.

"Bring your appetite and head to Citi Field on Tuesday, April 30 for Dollar Dog Night. Enjoy $1 hot dogs courtesy of Nathan's," the team said in a press release.

It was noted that fans will be limited to four hot dogs per transaction. The offer applies to Nathan's original hot dogs, so specialty hot dogs are not included. Gluten-free and veggie hot dogs will be available.

The Mets will be hosting the Chicago Cubs on April 30 in the second game of a four-game series. New York is currently 12-11 and will be looking to end a three-game losing streak in Wednesday night's game against the San Francisco Giants.
