The 2024 NFL draft class is filled with promising prospects at multiple positions, but it sounds like multiple teams are looking to improve their offensive lines.

NFL Network's draft expert Daniel Jeremiah reported on Wednesday that based on teams he's spoken to, it sounds like "everyone" is interested in trading up in Thursday's draft to select an offensive tackle.

In its latest draft big board, B/R's NFL Scouting Department ranked five offensive tackles in its top 25 players. That includes Oregon State's Taliese Fuaga, who is listed as an interior offensive lineman but is projected to play right tackle in the NFL. The others are Notre Dame's Joe Alt, Penn State's Olumuyiwa Fashanu, Alabama's JC Latham and Georgia's Amarius Mims.

In B/R's latest mock draft, a whopping seven offensive tackles were selected in the first round, with those five being joined by Oklahoma's Tyler Guyton and BYU's Kingsley Suamataia.

Many believe Alt is the biggest can't-miss prospect in this year's draft class. At 6'9", 321 pounds with a 5.05 40-yard dash, the former member of the Fighting Irish has a rare combination of size and athleticism that would allow him to excel at the professional level.

"Overall, Alt is a special prospect due to his size, athletic ability and polish for a player who will be only 21 years old throughout the duration of his rookie season," B/R's Brandon Thorn wrote in his scouting report. "While he isn't the most powerful blocker and will concede some initial ground in his anchor, Alt has virtually every other tool and skill to become an immediate impact starter at left tackle with the runway to continue ascending and cement his status as a foundational piece of a roster"

Thursday's NFL draft is sure to produce some excitement as teams try to maneuver through the first round to get the players they desire.
