It wasn't easy, but the New York Knicks secured a victory over the Philadelphia 76ers in Game One of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals.

The Knicks led 58-46 at halftime and led by as many as 14 points in the third quarter but Philadelphia was able to come back and even take a lead heading into the fourth quarter. However, New York locked in in the final quarter and emerged with a 111-104 victory to take the first series lead.

New York got excellent production from the bench, as reserves Bogdan Bogdanovic, Mitchell Robinson and Miles McBride combined for 42 points 22 rebounds and six assists. This helped New York take a 55-33 advantage in rebounds.

Jalen Brunson had 22 points, seven assists and seven rebounds and OG Anunoby had 11 points and four rebounds. However, the star of the day was Josh Hart.

Hard had 22 points and 13 rebounds while also dishing out two assists and securing a steal. His play was especially notable late in the game, as he scored five of his points and secured one rebound during the final minute that helped New York clinch the victory.

Fans took to social media to praise Hart for his performance in leading the Knicks to the big win:

Hart and New York will look to take this performance and repeat it in order to dispose of the 76ers, although that is a task that will not be very easy. Earning another victory before heading to Philadelphia for the first time will be a crucial next step.

The opportunity to do that will come Monday, with a scheduled tip-off at 7:30 P.M. ET.
