Jason Kelce Says He Lost Eagles Super Bowl Ring During Chili Tub Scavenger Hunt

Jason Kelce's decision to use his Super Bowl ring as part of a game during a live episode of the New Heights podcast at the University of Cincinnati last week caused some problems.

The game was a chili tub scavenger hunt in which the players had to dig through an inflatable pool filled with chili to find a sock that had the Super Bowl 52 ring inside of it.

The recently retired Philadelphia Eagles legend revealed on this week's podcast, presented by Wave Sports + Entertainment, that he legitimately lost the ring and had people searching in the pools for it.

Kelce explained the other pools featured fake rings inside of socks. He did at least have a good sense of humor about the situation.

In an ironic twist, Kelce explained they set up the game as a gag about how many times he's lost the Super Bowl ring in the past. He previously admitted to losing it twice after the subject was brought up on the Kelce documentary on Prime Video.

Kelce did say on the podcast he will probably just end up having another ring made. He received his now-lost ring after the Eagles beat the New England Patriots 41-33 on Feb. 4, 2018.

The 36-year-old Kelce announced his retirement from the NFL on March 4. He spent his entire 13-year career with the Eagles and was a six-time All-Pro first-team selection.
