There's no nation in the world more successful in Olympic basketball than the United States.

Team USA men's basketball has won a record 16 gold medals in the sport.

The team is on a four-Olympics unbeaten streak after taking victories in Beijing 2008, London 2012, Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020.

That pattern looks set to continue this summer thanks to a roster stacked with players who already hold at least one Olympic gold medal.

Durant has the chance to become the first men's Olympic basketball player in history to claim four golds after winning with Team USA in 2012, 2016 and 2020.

James won in 2008, and then again in 2012 with Durant and Davis. Adebayo, Booker, Tatum and Holiday joined the club in 2021 during the pandemic-delayed Games.

Adding Embiid, who became an American citizen in 2022, and Curry, who is set to make his Olympics debut, will make Team USA the club to beat in Paris this summer.
