Caitlin Clark's Fever Jersey Sells Out of Most Sizes in 1 Hour During 2024 WNBA Draft

The Caitlin Clark hype is not dying down any time soon.

Within an hour of the Indiana Fever taking Clark with the No. 1 pick in Monday's WNBA draft, her jerseys were nearly sold out at the Fanatics online store.

Clark won back-to-back National Player of the Year honors the last two seasons at Iowa, leading the Hawkeyes to the national title game in the process. Iowa lost to LSU in 2023 and fell just short against South Carolina earlier this month.

Those losses did nothing to quell the hype around Clark, who is already one of the biggest stars in women's basketball history. A record 18.9 million people watched the Iowa vs. South Carolina national championship game, making it the first time in history the women's game outdrew the men. Clark's presence helped ratings soar by 288 percent in two years, according to Nielsen.

The Fever selected Clark with the top pick Monday night and are already facing incredible hype. They'll be on national television for 36 of their 40 regular-season games despite Clark being surrounded by a roster that has not made the playoffs since 2016.

That said, if there was ever any worry over Clark's fans following her to the WNBA, those concerns were quelled within an hour Monday night.
