Kirk Cousins Reveals Falcons Teammate Told Him He Gives Off 'Serious Dad Vibes'

Kirk Cousins changed teams this offseason, but his overall vibes may have stayed the same.

The quarterback revealed Monday that "it certainly didn't take long" for one of his new Atlanta Falcons teammates to point out he gives off "serious dad vibes."

The veteran will turn 36 years old before the 2024 season, and he is listed as the oldest player on the Atlanta roster. That alone naturally makes him something of a father figure in the locker room, and he is also an actual father of two off the field.

Falcons fans are surely hoping he can turn those "dad vibes" into wins on the field.

The four-time Pro Bowler spent the last six seasons on the Minnesota Vikings but joined a Falcons team in need of a quarterback upgrade after playing Desmond Ridder and Taylor Heinicke in 2023.

Inconsistent quarterback play largely held back an offense with no shortage of skill players in Bijan Robinson, Kyle Pitts and Drake London, so Cousins will be tasked with helping Atlanta reach a higher level in 2024.

The team also added wide receivers Darnell Mooney and Rondale Moore this offseason, so playoffs will be the expectation given the overall offensive group.

The team just needs their de facto dad to bounce back from the Achilles injury he suffered last season and play at the same level he has for much of his career.
