Scottie Scheffler shared the lead with Ludvig Åberg midway through Sunday's fourth round of the 2024 Masters Tournament.

Scheffler rallied to make sure he didn't have to share the payout, too.

The 27-year-old hit four birdies on the back nine to finish four strokes ahead at 11-under 277 and secure himself $3.6 million in earnings.

The victory marks Scheffler's second Masters victory in three years. He also finished first at Augusta National in 2022.

The win also marks the second major tournament victory of Scheffler's career. He finished as runner-up at the U.S. Open in 2022 and the PGA Championship in 2023.

Scheffler's victory brings his official PGA Tour earnings up to $15.1 million during the 2024 season, according to Spotrac.

Jason Sobel of SiriusXM PGA Tour noted that with Sunday's win, Scheffler has averaged more than $361,000 in earnings per day over the past 35 days:

The win increased Scheffler's tour earnings to $57.7 million and his career earnings to more than $82 million, Spotrac reported.

Scheffler is the 12th golfer in history to rack up career earnings of more $57 million on the PGA Tour, per Spotrac.

Earlier this season Scheffler became the fastest PGA Tour golfer to surpass $50 million in career earnings. He accomplished the feat in March after 113 career tournaments.

Now Scheffler has made history once again by claiming the largest Masters winner's payout in Augusta National history.
