Ahead of Monday's WNBA draft, Iowa star Caitlin Clark had the opportunity to let loose on an iconic show.
Clark was a guest on this week's episode of Saturday Night Live and appeared on the "Weekend Update" segment where she roasted co-host Michael Che for his takes on women's sports:
Clark is expected to be the No. 1 overall pick by the Indiana Fever in Monday's draft, which will take place at the Brooklyn Academy of Music at 7:30 p.m. ET. After poking fun at Che, the NCAA's all-time leading scorer paid homage to the women's basketball players who paved the way for her.
"Thanks to all the great players like Sheryl Swoopes, Lisa Leslie, Cynthia Cooper, the great Dawn Staley, and my basketball hero, Maya Moore," Clark said. "These are the women that kicked down the door so I could walk inside, so I want to thank them tonight for laying the foundation."
Clark ended the fun segment by giving Che a signed apron, which the comedian said he would give to his girlfriend. The one problem, as Clark hilariously pointed out, is that Che actually doesn't have a girlfriend.
