The Caitlin Clark show is headed to Cleveland, Ohio.
Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes clinched their spot in the 2024 NCAA women's Final Four with a 94-87 victory over LSU in a rematch of last year's national championship game. Clark dazzled with 41 points, 12 assists, seven rebounds and two steals in one of the definitive performances of her incredible career.
Iowa will join South Carolina, North Carolina State and UConn in the Final Four. The Huskies also notched an Elite Eight win on Monday with an 80-73 victory over USC.
The full bracket can be found on the NCAA's official website.
Fans couldn't ask for better storylines heading into this year's Final Four.
On one side is the face of the sport with Clark drawing massive audiences and capturing the attention of the nation throughout the season. Her range sometimes makes Stephen Curry jealous, and she can put the Hawkeyes on her back and lead them to victory over the nation's best just like she did against LSU.
On the other side of the bracket is the sport's powerhouse program in South Carolina.
The Gamecocks reached the Final Four for the fourth consecutive season, which is a stretch that includes their 2022 national title. Head coach Dawn Staley's team is a perfect 36-0 this season, and it is a surprise when opponents are even within single digits by the time the fourth quarter starts.
North Carolina State will get a chance at what would be a third straight upset.
The Wolfpack are the No. 3 seed from the Portland 4 Region and eliminated second-seeded Stanford and top-seeded Texas in back-to-back games in the Sweet 16 and Elite Eight. Both games were double-digit victories, underscoring how dangerous Aziaha James and Co. can be when playing at their best.
Matching up with South Carolina is an entirely different task, and even a stunning upset could leave North Carolina State dealing with Clark or Paige Bueckers with a national title on the line.
Talk about a daunting path.
