Perhaps Tiger Woods dropped a hint on Saturday that he'll compete in this year's Master Tournament amid uncertainty surrounding his status for the event.

According to the flight tracking account Radaratlas2 on X, Woods' private jet landed in Augusta, Georgia, on Saturday morning.

According to Sports Illustrated's Bob Harig, Woods was at Augusta National and reportedly played a round with club chairman Fred Ridley and close friend Justin Thomas.

According to PGATour.com, Woods is currently included on the field list for next month's event. However, his status for the Masters remains unclear as he has yet to announce whether or not he'll be competing in the year's first major.

Woods hasn't competed since withdrawing from February's Genesis Invitational during the second round due to the flu.

That tournament was Woods' first PGA Tour event in more than 10 months after he was sidelined following an April surgery on his right ankle due to post-traumatic arthritis.

Woods initially injured his ankle during a February 2021 car crash and has only made six PGA Tour starts since. He has withdrawn or missed the cut in four of those six events.

If Woods competes in the Masters, it would mark his 26th appearance at the tournament. If he makes the cut for the 24th consecutive time, it would be a tournament record. He tied Gary Player and Fred Couples by making the cut for the 23rd straight time last year.

Woods withdrew from last year's Masters before the third round resumed after a rain delay due to plantar fasciitis in his foot.

Woods has won the Masters five times, with his last green jacket coming in 2019. The only golfer to have won more at Augusta National is Jack Nicklaus, who has won six titles.
