Dejounte Murray was unstoppable on Thursday night.

The Atlanta Hawks point guard scored a career-high 44 points in a 123-122 overtime victory over the Boston Celtics, including the winning jumper as time nearly expired.

Although he shot just 18-of-44 from the field, he was responsible for all 11 of Atlanta's points in overtime and outscored the Celtics by himself after the fourth quarter ended. Murray added seven rebounds, seven assists and two steals.

Bogdan Bogdanović chipped in with 24 points of his own, while De'Andre Hunter finished with a double-double by scoring 21 points and grabbing 13 rebounds.

Despite All-Star Trae Young missing his 17th consecutive game with a finger injury, Murray has helped keep the Hawks in the Eastern Conference play-in tournament picture. NBA fans were impressed with his heroics against Boston.

The win represented the Hawks' second consecutive victory over the Celtics, as Atlanta also defeated Boston 120-118 on Monday. During that game, Murray scored 19 points while dishing out a season-high 15 assists.

The Hawks moved to 34-39 and are on a four-game winning streak. They sit one game behind the Chicago Bulls for the No. 9 seed in the Eastern Conference.
