TMZ: NBA Legend Paul Pierce's LA Home Burglarized; Watches, $100K in Cash Stolen

Basketball Hall of Famer Paul Pierce had his Los Angeles home burglarized last week.

Law enforcement told TMZ Sports the burglary occurred on Friday night when Pierce wasn't home, and the perpetrators took a safe, luxury watches and more than $100,000 in cash.

The investigation into the burglary remains ongoing, with police officers looking at surveillance footage for clues.

TMZ noted there have been a string of burglaries in the Los Angeles area in recent years, with the targets being celebrity homes.

The Los Angeles Police Department recently announced a task force in an attempt to crack down on what's being called "burglary tourists" in the city.

Pierce was born in Oakland and later moved to Inglewood where he went to high school. He spent the first 17 years of his NBA career on Eastern Conference teams before playing his final two seasons with the Los Angeles Clippers.

A 10-time All-Star, Pierce was named Finals MVP when he led the Boston Celtics to a title during the 2007-08 season. He was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and College Basketball Hall of Fame in 2021.
