Free agent point guard John Wall said he'd be interested in playing for the Miami Heat and believes he can help the team.

Wall made the remarks on The OGs with former Miami Heat players Udonis Haslem and Mike Miller in response to a post from an X user who asked if he'd be open to playing for Miami.

"1,000 percent. I talk about that all the time. You know what I mean? Just feel like I can help them a lot," Wall said.

"I think getting [Terry Rozier] was a great piece for them...somebody that can make plays and pick 'n roll for them, but even if I didn't start, coming off the bench, I think I could be another person that can help them and impact them. Like me and UD talked about this plenty of times, and I work out with [Bam Adebayo] a lot, so..."

Wall, a five-time All-Star, most recently played 31 games for the Los Angeles Clippers during the 2022-23 season. He averaged 11.4 points on 40.8 percent shooting (30.3 percent from three) and 5.2 assists in 22.2 minutes per game. L.A. traded him in February 2023 to the Houston Rockets, who later waived him.

The 33-year-old was once one of the NBA's most talented and electric point guards, but numerous injuries robbed him off his prime, to the point where he's only played in 147 games since the 2017-18 campaign.

But he's still proven productive in recent years when given the chance. He's available for any team down the home stretch here, so perhaps we haven't see the last of Wall in an NBA uniform.
