The Los Angeles Lakers are working to correct multiple typos on the Kobe Bryant statue outside Crypto.com Arena that was revealed ahead of the team's Feb. 8 game against the Denver Nuggets.

"We have been aware of this for a few weeks and are already working to get it corrected soon," a team spokesperson told Jovan Buha of The Athletic.

Buha noted there are four typos:

The Lakers did not provide a timeline for the corrections.

The statue includes the box score of Bryant's 81-point game against the Toronto Raptors in 2006, which is where the typos are located.

The Hall of Famer is pointing to the fans in the statue, which is surrounded by the five championship trophies he won in his legendary career. It also includes a quote from Bryant, which says, "Leave the game better than you found it. And when it comes time for you to leave, leave a legend."

Vanessa Bryant, Kobe's widow, said there will eventually be three statues of Bryant outside the stadium, one of which will include their daughter, Gianna.

The ceremony unveiling the statue came before what turned into a 114-106 loss for the Lakers. The Denver Nuggets, who also swept the Purple and Gold in the Western Conference Finals last season, swept Los Angeles in three regular-season matchups this year.

Bryant played all 20 of his NBA seasons for the Lakers and amassed a resume that included five championships, two NBA Finals MVPs, a league MVP, 18 All-Star selections, 15 All-NBA nods and two scoring titles.
