Welcome to Bleacher Report's live coverage of AEW Collision on March 2.

Here is a look at Saturday's card:

Let's take a look at everything that happened on this week's Collision.

Mark Briscoe Fights off House of Black

Buddy Matthews opened this week's Collision walking to the ring for a match, but Mark Briscoe was hiding under the ring and ready to attack.

They fought at ringside and Briscoe hit a dive to put Matthews through a table. Brody King and Malakai Black ran down and tried to help, but Briscoe did not go down easy.

He used all kinds of weapons to take them out until Matthews took him down with a running knee. The chicken farmer fought back and nearly set Matthews' face on fire by setting off the pyro.

This was not a match. This was just a straight-up fight, and it was a lot of fun. It was less than 10 minutes and made Briscoe look like an absolute badass.

Notable Moments and Observations

Penta vs. Bryan Keith vs. Dante Martin

Collision AEW

Penta, Keith and Martin competed in a triple threat match in what was the first official bout of the evening since Briscoe and Matthews never ended up being official.

These are three very different kinds of wrestlers. Martin is a pure high-flyer who has agility that almost seems superhuman, Penta is a skilled luchador with mat and aerial abilities, and Keith is more of a utility player who can do a bit of everything.

Each combination of competitors had different exchanges at different times to show their varying styles, but it never feltt like there were any chemistry issues. They all meshed together well to put on a fun and exciting encounter.

In what many might call a surprising outcome, Martin scored the win with a frog splash on Keith, earning himself a spot in the All-Star Scramble match at Revolution in the process.

This was a medium-length bout that made all three men look good. If they had five more minutes, this would have easily stolen the show.

Result: Dante Martin defeated Penta and Keith

Grade: B

Mariah May in Action

Collision AEW

May won a brief singles bout but her win was not celebrated long. Toni Storm came to the ring and blew right past an excited May to grab a mic and call out Deonna Purrazzo.

She started asking Purrazzo if this had all gone too far, but it led to a fight. May tried to help but ended up taking a piledriver from The Virtuosa as Storm was held back by Luther.

May continues to be pushed to the background by a greedy Storm, so it's only a matter of time before she loses her love for Storm and decides to take action.

It might even happen during Sunday's title match between Purrazzo and Storm.

Result: Mariah May won

Grade: C

The Acclaimed and Austin Gunn vs Dark Order

Collision. AEW

Austin teamed up with Max Caster and Anthony Bowens for a trios bout against Jon Silver, Alex Reynolds and Evil Uno.

The Bang Bang Scissor Gang has been trying out different combinations of stars in matches in order to develop chemistry as a team, but the three men in this match have lots of history.

The Gunns and The Acclaimed were once allies, so this wasn't exactly a first-time experience. They still played up some moments of miscommunication.

There was a close two-count broken up by Austin that led to him taking a series of moves from Silver. The Dark Order did its best, but they weren't able to overcome The Acclaimed and Austin. Caster hit the Mic Drop to pick up the victory for his team.

This was a pretty standard trios bout. It was nothing to write home about but it certainly had some fun moments.

Result: The Acclaimed and Austin Gunn defeated Dark Order

Grade: B-

Notable Moments and Observations

Private Party vs. Matt Sydal and Christopher Daniels

Collision. AEW

Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy battled the duo of Matt Sydal and Christopher Daniels, who do not seem to have an official team name despite having been allies at different times in their careers.

All four of these men are quick on their feet, but Daniels is definitely a few steps slower than he used to be, so he was favoring more methodical offense in favor of trying to outpace his younger opponents.

This easily could have been a fast-paced, chaotic encounter, but instead, we got a tag team match with a steady pace, good crowd work, some solid double-team spots and an easy flow to follow.

They picked up and slowed down when it made sense instead of at random, and some of that may be due to Daniels being such a talented ring general who can help guide bouts like this. Private Party got the victory.

Result: Private Party defeated Sydal and Daniels

Grade: B+

Notable Moments and Observations

Thunder Rosa Squash

Thunder Rosa. Mel Coleman Art.

Thunder Rosa was back in action this week against a local talent. She was giving up some size and power to Cassandra Golden.

Rosa won in quick fashion with a new submission finisher. This was a standard squash with nothing else worth noting of too much significance. Rosa talked into the camera for a moment to say she wasn't going anywhere.

Notable Moments and Observations

Cassidy, Beretta, Garcia and Hook vs. Cage, Cage, Killswitch and Strong

Collision. AEW

The main event of this week's show was an eight-man tag match with Cassidy, Hook Garcia and Beretta taking on Strong, Killswitch and the two unrelated Cages, Brian and Christian.

Brian and Beretta began for their teams. The Machine easily overpowered his opponent, but they both chose to tag out to Garcia and Strong.

Matches with eight people can range from steady and easy to follow to chaos with no clear legal competitor. The majority of this bout was the former, which is usually the better of the two options.

No one competitor seemed to stand out more than the others, but the Christian vs. Garcia and Cassidy vs. Strong feuds were given some attention during the match.

Nick Wayne ended up interfering behind the ref's back by hitting Beretta, which allowed Killswitch to pin him for the win.

Result: Cage, Cage, Killswitch and Strong won

The Final Word

Collision. AEW

As the final AEW show before Sunday's Revolution PPV, this week's Collision had to balance giving the crowd a show worth paying to see while also hyping the big event.

Most of the big feuds heading into Revolution were addressed on Dynamite, so Collision focused on some of the smaller storylines for midcard titles.

Storm continues to be one of the best characters in all of AEW, Wardlow is finally picking up steam, Garcia is continuing to gain popularity, and both Rosa and Serena Deeb have added a bit of depth to the already stacked women's division.

The Match of the Night was easily the triple threat with Keith, Penta and Martin, but Briscoe's brawl with House of Black to kick off the show was the most entertaining segment overall.

Sunday's PPV has a stacked card with some potential title changes likely to happen, so it should cap off a fun weekend of wrestling.
