Chiefs' Travis Kelce on Viral Andy Reid Bump Video: 'Telling Him How Much I Love Him'

There's no bad blood between Travis Kelce and Andy Reid following the Kansas City Chiefs' 25-22 overtime win over the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl 58 on Sunday at Allegiant Stadium.

Kelce was asked about his sideline altercation with Reid during the game, and the star tight end told ESPN, "Imma keep it between us unless my mic'd up tells the world. I was just telling him how much I love him."

Reid added of the incident on the CBS broadcast: "He keeps me young. ...He tested that hip out. He caught me off balance. Normally I'd give him a little bit, but I didn't have any feet under me."

During the second quarter of Sunday's action, CBS cameras caught Kelce bumping into and confronting Reid after he was taken off the field before Isiah Pacheco's red zone fumble.

It was perhaps a sign of frustration as the Kansas City offense had been struggling and Kelce had only caught one pass for one yard at that point in the game with the Chiefs trailing 3-0.

Considering Kelce is one of the most dangerous red zone threats in football and is one of Patrick Mahomes' favorite targets, Reid taking him out at that point in the game was understandably a questionable decision.

However, it didn't matter in the end, and Kelce finished the game with nine catches for 93 yards, which led the team.

And for what it's worth, Kelce approached Reid a few minutes after the outburst and hugged him, according to The Athletic's James Boyd and Amos Morale III. Reid then patted him on the back.

Reid has been Kelce's head coach for the entirety of the 34-year-old's 11-year career, so the two likely have a solid relationship.

Reid took over as head coach in Kansas City in 2013, the same year the franchise selected Kelce in the third round of the draft out of Cincinnati.

Kelce, Reid and Chiefs Kingdom now get to celebrate their third Super Bowl title in five seasons. That sideline altercation is already a thing of the distant past.
