Report: Raiders' Janarius Robinson Arrested for Suspected DUI During Super Bowl Week

Timothy Rapp

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police confirmed Tuesday that Raiders defensive end Janarius Robinson was arrested on suspicion of DUI, according to Cristen Drummond and Matthew Seeman of News 3.

Robinson was reportedly arrested near the Aria Resort & Casino around 6 a.m. on Tuesday morning. Per News 3, Las Vegas Justice Court listed the charge as "DUI, first offense, a misdemeanor."

"The Raiders are aware of an incident involving Janarius Robinson last night," the team said in a statement. "The club is in the process of gathering more information."

Robinson, 24, was a fourth-round pick of the Minnesota Vikings in 2021 out of Florida State. His rookie season ended before it began, as he was placed on injured reserve. The Vikings waived him ahead of the 2022 campaign and he joined the team's practice squad, though the Eagles signed him shortly thereafter.

But he never appeared in a game for the Eagles either, with stints on the practice squad and also injured reserve. The team waived him ahead of the 2023 season and he was signed to the Las Vegas practice squad.

The team elevated him to the active roster in December and he appeared in six total games (two starts), posting eight tackles (one for loss), a sack and two quarterback hits.

Robinson has one year and $985,000 remaining on his contract with the Raiders.
