Cooper Flagg is headed to Duke.

And UConn.

And Kansas.

The consensus top prospect in the 2024 recruiting class set his first official visits for the fall, with the three powerhouses topping his list, Flagg's mother told Travis Branham of 247Sports.

Flagg previously took an unofficial visit to Duke earlier this month. He recently reclassified to the Class of 2024, which will quickly ratchet up the intensity in what was already expected to be one of the hottest recruitment processes in recent memory.

Flagg has received offers from the vast majority of the country's top teams and has all the makings of a future No. 1 overall pick in the NBA draft. His size at 6'8" and 195 pounds is not ideal for a player whose natural position is the 4, but he's shown elite potential on the defensive end and could shift down to the 3 pretty easily at the pro level.

The slight concerns about his size at the 4 will not come into play at the collegiate level, where he projects as an instant-impact player on both ends of the floor.

While Duke and Kansas are powerhouses that regularly land the sport's top players, UConn is an interesting addition to Flagg's list given their lack of recent pull on the recruiting circuit. Stephon Castle, a 5-star guard in the 2023 class, is the first top-10 prospect the Huskies have landed in the history of 247Sports' rankings.

Flagg would be the biggest name to land at UConn perhaps in program history.
