UFC fighter Tony Ferguson was arrested Sunday in Los Angeles on suspicion of driving under the influence, according to TMZ Sports.

TMZ Sports reported Ferguson crashed his truck, which flipped onto its side. He refused to take a field sobriety test at the scene and was placed into custody.

A Los Angeles police spokesperson told MMA Junkie that first responders pulled two people from the overturned truck, neither of whom suffered major injuries.

Ferguson's management declined to comment when asked about the arrest by ESPN's Brett Okamoto.

The 39-year-old is facing a misdemeanor DUI charge in connection to the crash, and his license could be suspended because of his refusal to perform the field sobriety test, per TMZ Sports.

Ferguson most recently fought in September, suffering his fifth straight defeat as he fell in the fourth round to Nate Diaz at UFC 279. He indicated in the immediate aftermath he intends to continue competing in the Octagon.
