99. OF Emmanuel Rodriguez, MIN
98. OF Ceddanne Rafaela, BOS
97. OF Kevin Alcántara, CHC
96. IF Jordan Westburg, BAL
95. C Yainer Diaz, HOU
94. OF Oscar Colás, CWS
93. RHP Brandon Pfaadt, ARI
92. SS Brayan Rocchio, CLE
91. IF Jonathan Aranda, TB

- No organization develops pitching better than the Tampa Bay Rays, and their latest success story is left-hander Mason Montgomery. The 2021 sixth-round pick has a 2.31 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 162 strikeouts in 113 innings between High-A and Double-A.

- The Cubs acquired outfielder Kevin Alcántara in the deal that sent Anthony Rizzo to the Yankees last summer. The 20-year-old has an .812 OPS with 19 doubles, 15 home runs and 84 RBI in 110 games at Single-A, and he is just scratching the surface of his power potential.

- Right-hander Brandon Pfaadt has emerged as the top pitching prospects in the D-backs system this year. The 23-year-old has an MiLB-leading 191 strikeouts in 147.1 innings between Double-A and Triple-A.

85. 2B Jace Jung, DET
84. RHP Brock Porter, TEX
83. RHP Emerson Hancock, SEA
82. OF Joey Wiemer, MIL
81. RHP Ryan Pepiot, LAD

- The Pirates acquired Endy Rodriguez in the three-team deal that sent Joe Musgrove to the Padres and Joey Lucchesi to the Mets prior to the 2021 season. The versatile 22-year-old is hitting .314/.404/.588 with 33 doubles, 24 home runs and 80 RBI in 111 games between High-A and Double-A.

- Outfielder Alec Burleson is hitting .331/.372/.532 with 25 doubles, 20 home runs and 87 RBI in 109 games at Triple-A, and his 14.3 percent strikeout rate speaks to his overall polish in the batter's box. He might be the most MLB-ready prospect in the minors right now.

- Right-hander Ryan Pepiot has a 3.78 ERA with 38 strikeouts in 33.1 innings in the majors, but he has also walked 26 batters for a 7.0 BB/9 rate. His changeup is one of the best in baseball, but his fastball has been hittable, and his slider lags behind his other two pitches.

Nos. 80-71

75. OF Colton Cowser, BAL
74. OF Gavin Cross, KC
73. OF Alex Ramirez, NYM
72. 3B Jacob Berry, MIA
71. RHP Jackson Jobe, DET

- Athletic catcher Harry Ford is now the top prospect in the Seattle farm system after Noelvi Marte and Edwin Arroyo were shipped to Cincinnati in the Luis Castillo deal. The No. 12 overall pick in the 2021 draft has an .851 OPS with 21 doubles, 11 home runs and 22 steals in 100 games at Single-A.

- Shortstop Carson Williams has been an extra-base hit machine at Single-A with 22 doubles, 10 triples and 19 home runs, but he also has 165 strikeouts and a 32.4 percent strikeout rate. Can he make the necessary adjustments against higher-level pitching?

- One of the early standouts from the 2022 draft class, Gavin Cross is hitting .309/.438/.650 with eight home runs and 25 RBI in 26 games between rookie ball and Single-A. The Virginia Tech standout could be one of the first players from this year's draft to reach the majors.

66. C Bo Naylor, CLE
65. 3B Cam Collier, CIN
64. OF Sal Frelick, MIL
63. C Drew Romo, COL
62. RHP Jack Leiter, TEX
61. RHP Cade Cavalli, WAS

- Left-hander Ken Waldichuk (NYY to OAK in the Frankie Montas deal) and catcher Logan O'Hoppe (PHI to LAA in the Brandon Marsh deal) were two of the top prospects moved in deadline deals this summer.

- One of the youngest players in the 2022 draft after reclassifying from the 2023 high school class, third baseman Cam Collier is off to a terrific start to his pro career, hitting .370/.514/.630 with two home runs in his first nine games in rookie ball.

- The Rangers sent 2021 first-round pick Jack Leiter to Double-A this year for his pro debut, and he has taken his lumps with a 5.32 ERA and 1.51 WHIP. However, he has also racked up 105 strikeouts in 88 innings, and the elite stuff he showed at Vanderbilt is still there.

Nos. 60-51

60. SS Royce Lewis, MIN
59. RHP Quinn Priester, PIT
58. RHP Mick Abel, PHI
57. C Kevin Parada, NYM
56. SS Oswald Peraza, NYY
55. 2B Michael Busch, LAD
54. SS Colson Montgomery, CWS
53. SS Adael Amador, COL
52. C Henry Davis, PIT
51. OF Elijah Green, WAS

- Right-hander Quinn Priester has taken another significant step forward this season over three levels in the Pittsburgh farm system. The 2019 first-round pick has a 2.01 ERA with 53 strikeouts in 53.1 innings over his last 10 starts at Double-A, and he could see the big leagues in 2023.

- Colson Montgomery is rocketing through the White Sox farm system, hitting .279/.385/.423 with 28 extra-base hits and a 13.0 percent walk rate in 401 plate appearances. The No. 22 pick in the 2021 draft received his second promotion of the year in late August when he was moved up to Double-A.

- Tooled-up slugger Elijah Green is hitting .302/.404/.535 with four doubles, two home runs and nine RBI in his first 12 games in rookie ball. That said, the swing-and-miss concerns that caused him to slip out of the No. 1 overall pick conversation are still there: He has whiffed 21 times in 52 plate appearances.

Nos. 50-41

50. SS Masyn Winn, STL
49. 3B Josh Jung, TEX
48. RHP Tink Hence, STL
47. RHP Max Meyer, MIA
46. OF Brennen Davis, CHC
45. C Shea Langeliers, OAK
44. LHP DL Hall, BAL
43. RHP Brayan Bello, BOS
42. OF George Valera, CLE
41. RHP Hunter Brown, HOU

- The Cardinals selected both Masyn Winn (No. 54 overall) and Tink Hence (No. 63 overall) in the second round of the 2020 MLB draft, the same draft class that saw them select fellow Top 100 prospects Jordan Walker (No. 21 overall) and Alec Burleson (No. 70 overall). Not a bad haul for an abbreviated five-round draft.

- With 137 strikeouts in 84.1 innings in the upper levels of the minors, there is little question DL Hall has the swing-and-miss stuff to thrive in the majors. He made his MLB debut on Aug. 13 with a spot start, and he has returned in a bullpen role as a September call-up.

- Flame thrower Hunter Brown made his MLB debut on Sept. 5, allowing just three hits over six shutout innings. The 24-year-old will likely shift to the bullpen once Justin Verlander returns from the injured list, and he has a chance to pitch his way onto the playoff roster.

35. 1B Triston Casas, BOS
34. 3B Miguel Vargas, LAD
33. SS Edwin Arroyo, CIN
32. RHP Gavin Williams, CLE
31. OF Evan Carter, TEX

- After hitting .357/.462/.664 with 25 doubles and 15 home runs in 58 games during his junior season at Cal Poly, shortstop Brooks Lee is on the fast track with a quick promotion from rookie ball to High-A. The 21-year-old has an .858 OPS with 10 extra-base hits in 26 games in his pro debut.

- First baseman Triston Casas made his MLB debut on Sept. 4, and he hit his first home run two days later. He'll spend the final month of the season auditioning for the starting first base job in 2023.

- Towering 6'6" right-hander Gavin Williams has quickly emerged as one of the best pitching prospects in baseball this season with a 2.04 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 140 strikeouts in 106 innings between High-A and Double-A. There were 10 pitchers taken ahead of him in the 2021 draft.

Nos. 30-21

Vaughn Grissom (Joe Robbins/Icon Sportswire via Getty Images)

Nos. 30-21

30. OF Pete Crow-Armstrong, CHC
29. 2B Termarr Johnson, PIT
28. 3B Brett Baty, NYM
27. OF Robert Hassell III, WAS
26. RHP Bobby Miller, LAD
25. LHP Kyle Harrison, SF
24. RHP Andrew Painter, PHI
23. OF Zac Veen, COL
22. SS Noelvi Marte, CIN
21. 2B Vaughn Grissom, ATL

- Outfielder Robert Hassell III just turned 21 years old on Aug. 15, and he is already playing at the Double-A level. The No. 8 overall pick in the 2020 draft is a career .288/.375/.441 hitter with 83 extra-base hits and 57 steals in 213 games in the minors.

- Left-hander Kyle Harrison ranks second in the minors with 173 strikeouts in 104 innings between High-A and Double-A, and he has also trimmed his walk rate from 4.7 to 4.1 BB/9 relative to his pro debut in 2021.

- Vaughn Grissom jumped into our Top 100 prospect rankings for the first time last update, and his upward trajectory has continued thanks to a .347/.398/.558 line with five doubles, five home runs and 1.4 WAR in 26 games in the majors.

Nos. 20-11

Taj Bradley (Kevork Djansezian/Getty Images)

Nos. 20-11

20. LHP Ricky Tiedemann, TOR
19. OF Druw Jones, ARI
18. RHP Daniel Espino, CLE
17. RHP Eury Pérez, MIA
16. C Gabriel Moreno, TOR
15. SS Jackson Holliday, BAL
14. C Diego Cartaya, LAD
13. SS Marcelo Mayer, BOS
12. RHP Taj Bradley, TB
11. SS Ezequiel Tovar, COL

- No pitching prospect has done more to boost his stock this year than 2021 third-round pick Ricky Tiedemann. The 6'4" southpaw has a 2.17 ERA, 0.86 WHIP and 117 strikeouts in 78.2 innings, and he was promoted to Double-A just before his 20th birthday.

- This year's No. 1 overall pick, Jackson Holliday, is hitting .317 with a .482 on-base percentage and six extra-base hits in his first 18 pro games. The 18-year-old has more walks (20) than strikeouts (11) in 81 plate appearances between rookie ball and Single-A.

- Expect to see Taj Bradley in the majors sometime next season. The 21-year-old has logged a 2.61 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 122 strikeouts in 110.1 innings between Double-A and Triple-A, and with a polished three-pitch mix and plus command, he has little left to prove in the minors.

Nos. 10-1

Nos. 10-1

10. RHP Grayson Rodriguez, BAL
9. SS Anthony Volpe, NYY
8. OF Corbin Carroll, ARI
7. OF Jackson Chourio, MIL
6. SS Marco Luciano, SF
5. SS Elly De La Cruz, CIN
4. SS Jordan Lawlar, ARI
3. 3B Jordan Walker, STL
2. SS Gunnar Henderson, BAL
1. C Francisco Álvarez, NYM

- Still just 18 years old, Jackson Chourio is hitting .300/.353/.568 with 29 doubles, 20 home runs, 71 RBI, 74 runs scored and 13 steals in 16 attempts. He has an .813 OPS in 29 games since he was promoted to High-A in late July.

- Elly De La Cruz is hitting .300/.357/.596 with 28 doubles, 28 home runs and 39 steals in 111 games between High-A and Double-A. The 6'5" infielder could eventually outgrow shortstop, but he has the power potential to handle a shift to third base and the athleticism to move to center field.

- Shortstop Gunnar Henderson was promoted to the majors on Aug. 31, and he is hitting .273/.314/.424 for a 108 OPS+ with two doubles and one home run in his first nine games in the majors. The 21-year-old had a .946 OPS with 50 extra-base hits and 22 steals in 112 games in the minors before he was called up.
