Free-agent NFL running backs Le'Veon Bell and Adrian Peterson will face off in a celebrity exhibition boxing match from Los Angeles' Crypto.com Arena on Saturday, July 30.

Bell announced the official news on Twitter Friday.

This will be the first time both running backs will be competing in a boxing ring, per ESPN's Mike Coppinger.

The duo will be fighting on an undercard that features a pair of YouTube stars in Austin McBroom and AnEsonGib fighting in the main event.

In addition, ex-NBA guard Nick Young will box rapper Blueface on the undercard.

Bell and Peterson are among a host of current and former athletes who have taken to the boxing ring. Ex-NBA point guard Deron Williams defeated former NFL running back Frank Gore via split decision. YouTube star Jake Paul knocked out ex-NBA guard and Slam Dunk Contest champion Nate Robinson. And ex-NFL star wideout Chad Johnson fought bare-knuckle brawler Brian Maxwell in a four-round exhibition that went the distance.

Now Bell and Peterson will be taking their turns in the ring.

Bell, 30, played in eight NFL seasons. The 6'1", 225-pound back starred for the Pittsburgh Steelers from 2013-2017, earning three Pro Bowl honors and two All-pro team nods. Over the past three years, Bell has played for the New York Jets, Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens and, most recently, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He's amassed 9,843 yards from scrimmage and 51 touchdowns for his career.

The 6'1", 220-pound Peterson, 37, has played 15 NFL seasons. Along the way, he's made seven Pro Bowls, four All-Pro teams and the 2012 NFL MVP award. Peterson led the league in rushing three times and eclipsed the 2,000-yard mark with 2,097 yards in 2012. The ex-Oklahoma star has played for seven NFL teams, primarily with the Minnesota Vikings. He suited up for the Tennessee Titans and Seattle Seahawks last year.
