After struggling in the Golden State Warriors' loss to the Houston Rockets in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals on Wednesday, guard Klay Thompson said Saturday that he will turn things around in Sunday's Game 3.

According to Marcus Thompson of The Athletic, Thompson said, "I'll be better tomorrow. Guaranteed."

In Game 2, Thompson made just three of his 11 attempts from the field and finished with eight points, two rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Thompson was also a minus-24 in Game 2, which was tied with Draymond Green for the second-worst rating on the team behind Kevin Durant's minus-28.

Golden State fell 127-105 to the Rockets, who got 19 or more points each from James Harden, Eric Gordon, P.J. Tucker and Trevor Ariza.

Game 2 represented a steep drop-off for Thompson after his 28 points on 9-of-18 shooting during Golden State's Game 1 win, including six makes from beyond the arc on 15 attempts.

Thompson has been solid in the 2018 playoffs overall with averages of 20.7 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists per contest. He is also shooting 38.7 percent from long range.

Durant is coming off a 38-point performance in Game 2, but Stephen Curry struggled much like Thompson, with just 16 points on 7-of-19 shooting.

Golden State will need far better showings from Thompson and Curry to regain the series lead, but it will have home-court advantage in Game 3 at Oracle Arena in Oakland, California.
