New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees has no intention of testing free agency this offseason, nor does he plan on leaving the only franchise he's known for the past 12 years. 

"I'm not in the mood to make anything secretive," Brees said, per ESPN.com's Mike Triplett. "It's the same way I felt two days ago. It's the same way I felt 12 years ago. That is that I'll be here as long as they'll have me, hopefully."

Brees did note that it's just two days after the Saints' season ended, so he hasn't "given it a ton of thought—other than, I know where my mindset's been the whole time, and that's that I'll be here."

The Saints were eliminated from the postseason Sunday when Stefon Diggs caught a 61-yard touchdown pass from Case Keenum as the clock expired to give the Minnesota Vikings a stunning 29-24 victory. 

Brees signed a contract extension with the Saints prior to the 2016 season that was written as a five-year deal but included an automatic void after two seasons. 

The 39-year-old Brees set a new single-season NFL record with a completion percentage of 72 in 2017. He also threw for 4,334 yards and 23 touchdowns to lead the Saints to an 11-5 record and their first NFC South title since 2011.
