Belgium have lost Premier League duo Eden Hazard and Romelu Lukaku to injury ahead of their game against Australia on Thursday—but in what must surely be something of a first, coach Marc Wilmots has replaced both players with their younger brothers.
Thorgan Hazard, 21, plays a role similar to his older brother's and is on loan from Chelsea to Borussia Monchengladbach this season.
Jordan Lukaku, 20, is a defender, making his way in the game with KV Oostende in Belgium.
Romelu tweeted his delight at the news:
The best news of my whole life... My brother is called up for the @BelRedDevils pff the dream is getting closer 😭😃🙏 . Congrats @J_Lukaku94
