Ryan Garcia shocked the boxing world by defeating Devin Haney on Saturday night, and the rest of the sports world is taking note.

Everyone from Conor McGregor to Jake Paul sent out posts on X as Garcia pulled off a massive upset:

Garcia knocked Haney down three times in a wild fight Saturday night to earn a majority decision victory. It was nothing short of a jaw-dropping bout, especially after Garcia's controversy-laden lead up to the fight.

Garcia missed weight and pretended to chug a beer at his weigh in, with the two sides agreeing to make it a non-title bout. Haney, who was 31-0 coming into the night, will remain champion but now has a blemish on his record.

"I don't give a f--k what people say about me. I walked through the fire and still held it down and still beat f--king Devin Haney and still drink every day," Garcia told reporters after the bout. "Not necessarily am I proud of that, but I'm just saying it was a statement to show you, you guys can't really f--k with me."

Haney said he was "disappointed" in his performance.

"He caught me early when I was sleeping on him," Haney said. "He caught me by surprise. I fell asleep on the left hook. ... I gave him a shot. It's only right he gives me a shot back."

Based on the reaction to Saturday night's result, it would not be a surprise to see these two get in the ring together for a rematch.
