Dominik Mysterio Calls Out Bad Bunny for Potential Future Match

It's been nearly a year since three-time Grammy Award winner Bad Bunny graced a WWE ring, but he's received a challenge from one of the top heels in the company.

During an appearance on The Ringer Wrestling Show, Dominik Mysterio declared that he has some unfinished business with Bad Bunny and would welcome a future match against him. In addition to Bad Bunny helping his father Rey Mysterio defeat him last year at WrestleMania 39, he also defeated Mysterio's Judgment Day stablemate Damian Priest in an epic San Juan Street Fight at WWE Backlash 2023 in Puerto Rico.

"I know Bad Bunny did his thing with Damian in PR, I know he got involved in my match last year. He's done a lot for the culture and whatnot, but at the end of the day, Damian said it—you're a singer, dude. Stay in your lane," Mysterio said (h/t Subhojeet Mukherjee of Ringside News). This is our world here, Judgment Day takes over here. As far as unfinished business goes, if he's more than willing to get in my face again, I'm down to throw down if you know what I'm talking about."

Bad Bunny made his in-ring debut at WrestleMania 37 in 2021. He also competed at the 2022 Royal Rumble and once held the WWE 24/7 Championship.

Fans would certainly be excited to see Bad Bunny back in the ring once again, and facing a hated wrestler like Mysterio would be an exciting way for him to return.

WWE Reportedly Pleased with Tama Tonga's SmackDown Debut

This past Friday's episode of SmackDown Live featured a major development with The Bloodline, as Solo Sikoa turned on his older brother Jimmy Uso and gave him a serious beatdown with help from a new addition.

Longtime New Japan Pro Wrestling Superstar Tama Tonga debuted as the newest member of The Bloodline, seemingly kicking Uso out of the stable for losing to his twin brother Jey Uso at WrestleMania 40. Tonga and Sikoa left the audience shocked with how they brutalized the former tag team champ.

According to Fightful Select (h/t Subhojeet Mukherjee of Ringside News), WWE was "pleased with the positive reception Tonga received on television, particularly given his limited exposure in the United States before this appearance."

The report also noted that Tonga wasn't hidden backstage prior to his appearance on SmackDown, which is a customary practice for debuting Superstars.

Tonga, who is the son of former WWE Tag Team Champion Haku, has long been rumored to be a future member of The Bloodline since it was announced that he would be leaving NJPW to join WWE.

It appears that big plans are on the horizon for Tonga, as he adds a new layer to the already epic Bloodline story.

WWE Veteran Natalya's Contract Set to Expire Soon

Several WWE Superstars are facing impending contract expiration dates, including a veteran of the women's division.

According to Fightful Select (h/t Ishaan Rathi of Ringside News), Natalya is among the wrestlers who have an expiring contract, and negotiations have yet to begin regarding her potentially re-signing with the company.

"In recent months, it's been reported that Drew McIntyre, Becky Lynch, Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, and others have their deals coming up much sooner than would typically be the case before negotiating. In addition, we're told that Natalya's WWE deal is also up within the next couple of months, and talks have not taken place between the two sides. Natalya is the company's longest-tenured female wrestler."

The daughter of legendary wrestler Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, Natalya signed with WWE in 2007 and made her main roster debut in 2008. She held the WWE Divas Championship, SmackDown Women's Championship and Women's Tag Team Championship once each.

Natalya also holds six Guinness World Records for women's wrestlers: most pay-per-view appearances, most matches, most wins, most Monday Night Raw matches, most SmackDown Live matches and most WrestleMania matches.

It would be a shock if Natalya were to leave WWE, as she is a respected locker room leader who has provided guidance for the next generation of Superstars in the women's division.
