Best and Worst Booking Decisions of WWE WrestleMania 40 Night 2 Card Results

Doc-Chris Mueller

WrestleMania 40 was a weekend full of surprises, title changes and fun moments, but if you look at both days, Night 2 delivered a slightly more satisfying night of pro wrestling.

Here is a rundown of all of the results from Sunday:

Let's look at the highs and lows from Sunday's action.

Worst: Logan Paul Retains

We a're just going to get the only low point out of the way first, and to be honest, it's not even that bad.

Paul, Owens and Orton put on an awesome performance on Sunday in the United States Championship match. The only criticism is who left with the belt.

Love him or hate him, The Social Media Megastar puts a lot of effort into making sure he respects the business and gives the fans a few moments they will remember every time he gets into the ring.

Even Paul winning isn't a huge problem. It would have made more sense for KO to win and have a nice moment with Zayn as the two new midcard champions, but that was mostly wishful thinking.

The energy drink mogul continues to be valuable for WWE and will likely hold the U.S. title until SummerSlam at the least.

Best: Drew McIntyre and Damien Priest Win Gold

Watching Drew McIntyre score a clean win over Rollins to claim the World Heavyweight Championship was a great moment, but his own hubris was his undoing.

As he taunted CM Punk at the announce table as he has on social media for months, The Second City Savior tripped him and unleashed a shocking attack that paved the way for Priest to cash in his Money in the Bank contract.

After 10 long months, The Archer of Infamy is finally a world champion. He and Finn Balor may not longer be tag team champions, but Judgment Day now holds the top two men's and women's belts on Raw.

All of this worked to give us two entertaining title changes in the span of a few minutes. McIntyre sold all of it beautifully, especially the emotion when the ref handed him the belt.

Now, Priest is the one with all the pressure on his shoulders, but he seems up to the challenge.

Best: Bayley Defeats Iyo Sky

Bayley WWE

Bayley has accomplished just about everything in her WWE career, but this marked the first time she won a title at The Grandest Stage of Them All.

After being kicked out of Damage CTRL, The Role Model had the odds stacked against her, but Sky chose to fight this match without Kairi Sane, Asuka and Dakota Kai at ringside.

What we got was a solid bell-to-bell performance from two Superstars who have built reputations as great workers who make the most of big matches.

Sky was her usual high-flying self, but Bayley was the star here. The crowd gave her a big pop when she won the match and was singing and chanting for her throughout the whole thing.

The women's division killed it this weekend and this match was just another example of why Bayley is one of the best to ever lace up a pair of boots.

Best: Cody Rhodes Finishes the Story

On Sunday night in front of more than 70,000 screaming fans, The American Nightmare prevailed over The Tribal Chief to win the Universal Championship in one of the best WrestleMania main events in recent memory.

This match and its competitors had a lot of pressure on them heading into Sunday night. Not only were they expected to close out what was being billed as the biggest 'Mania of all time, but they also had to bring an end to one of the longest title reigns in WWE history.

Reigns has been a great champion and face of the company, but having him hold the title for so long was beginning to wear on people a long time ago. Waiting until now may have been frustrating, but it certainly gave us an epic moment.

All of the cameos, weapons and interference should have felt overbooked, but somehow it worked. They ended the show with one of the biggest feel-good title wins of all time. You can't ask for much more out of a WrestleMania.

What did you think were the best and worst moments from this weekend's festivities?
